The LLFC Associate Program is a dynamic 2-year work program that incorporates personal, professional, and spiritual development experiences throughout your employment. You will work closely alongside the LLFC full-time staff throughout the year.
There are many tasks and assignments that our Associates will receive, but above all this is a highly relational position. This experience is designed to give you exposure and experience in three major areas, Program, Operation, and Recruiting. Over the course of two years you will get a look behind the scenes and actually help make weekend retreats and summer camp happen! While there are many facets of this position, you will brainstorm, plan, schedule, organize, execute, and evaluate work in each of these areas. You will interview and make hiring decisions on summer staff candidates, onboard and communicate with new hires, help plan the summer camp schedule, design and select camp store merchandise, schedule staff for activity trainings, make camp activities preparations, develop camp program themes and ideas, lead some elements of pre-camp staff training, and much more.
During weekends and summers you will lead staff, and help provide an incredible experience for every camper entering the Canyon.
