On June 8, 2021 the DSHS issued updated guidance that is substantially reduced and modified from previous guidance, which did not include any language about social distancing. One of the key updates made regarding masks reads as follows: “In general, people do not need to wear masks. However, as best practice, particularly in areas of substantial to high transmission, people who are not fully vaccinated including children under the age of 12 years may choose to wear a mask in crowded settings or during activities that involve sustained close contact with other people. Camp programs should be supportive of campers or staff who may choose to wear a mask.” You can read more from the latest DSHS update here:
