Summer 2020 Day Use Program

Day Use registration will be limited to 40 guests per day to ensure appropriate distancing.

On a fully populated event at Headwaters, we are just over 33% capacity

On-site medical personnel (Doctor or RN) will be available throughout all day use programming.

Upon arrival, all guests and staff will participate in required daily temperature checks and symptom screenings by an LLFC employee or on-site medical personnel.

Most of your day will likely be outdoors, allowing adequate open space for your family to enjoy themselves while keeping safe distance from other guests and staff.

The following social distancing rules will be enforced by LLFC monitors and counselors:

• Staff and guests remain socially distant (at least 6ft apart).
• Family groups remain together throughout activities and meals—making an effort to minimize contact (less than 6ft) with other family groups.
• All program activities are limited to one family unit participating at a time.

Face coverings will be provided and encouraged anytime 6ft is not possible between guests from different households.

LLFC staff are required to wear face coverings when an activity prohibits them from maintaining 6ft distance between them and guests (i.e., hooking participant up at rock wall).

All common areas and high-touch surfaces—including canoes and kayaks—are disinfected daily and between guests for your safety.

Casitas are also disinfected daily.

Our staff remains on-site between day retreats, allowing ample time for cleaning and disinfecting. We also have staff working in the common areas and activities that are trained on proper cleaning and operating procedures.

To ensure appropriate distancing, guests are provided a self-served box lunch and snack before leaving.

Guests have the option to take their lunch anywhere on campus—or they may sit at one of our dining tables set up and appropriately spaced for social distancing.

Day use reservations are non-refundable.
Exceptions may exist for medical emergencies and other situations beyond the family’s control.

Registration will be limited to 40 guests per day to ensure appropriate distancing.

If you are considering registering for more than one day event, we strongly encourage families to sign up for no more than 2 day events to allow other families to register as well.
